Duos is a casual format for Flesh and Blood designed to provide a play experience that feels different every time and feels different from every other way to play Flesh and Blood.

Quick start
1. Select 2 young heroes
2. Build a deck of exactly 60 cards, no duplicates
3. You may use cards from both of your chosen heroes
4. You have 2 hand slots, 1 head slot, 1 chest slot, 1 arm slot, and 1 leg slot
5. Your starting life is the combined life total of your chosen heroes
6. Your intellect is equal to the highest between your chosen heroes

What's the point?

Flesh and Blood is one of the most well designed card games to date, but it has a problem. There's not really a casual way to play the game. Casual decks are just "bad" versions of a normal deck. Duos attempts to solve this problem by letting you build combinations you otherwise coouldn't. It lets cards interact in ways the designers never intended, leading to interesting new play patterns, while singleton decks cut down on the consistency enough to keep things reasonable.

Where should I start?

Here's some ideas to get you started.
  • Shiyana + Kayo: Tear Limb from Limb > Any 6 power attack > Kayo triggers doubling to 12 > Shiyana triggers doubling to 24 > Tear triggers doubling to 48
  • Chane + Levia: Keep blood debt turned off. Attack with your banished runeblade cards, then use shackle to give go again to your Shadow Brute cards, then banish your runeblade cards again to restart the process
  • Benji + Boltyn: Guaranteed charge with wide swings
